Hand Sanitizer and Kids

Didja hear that Purell and other hand sanitizers have enough alcohol to make a kid drunk by soaking through their skin?

I got an e-mail about that - one of those "circulates forever ones". The Snopes page confirmed it. So don't let your little guys use it. And if you use it, make sure you have a designated driver.

You'd have to be using a TON. I've used Purell, and a bunch of other hand sanitizers, in and around working with sick people and animals. I get drunk on half a glass of wine or beer and I never got tipsy! They must be swimming in it!PJ

Giving that type of information to a father (who is 'easily entertained') is not good business. I am already planning how to explain this to the wifey when I return home.

Oh, don't leave me hanging!!! What happened?
I get teased about being a "cheap date" sometimes. I can't really drink and I don't eat very much either! LOL!I wonder if that's why my DH married me....PJ

I haven't used hand sanitizer since I left it in the car one summer day. Now I use the little packet of wipes, at least they can't explode & I like the feeling that I'm wiping the dirt off, not just sterilizing it.
