Wanted to give folks plenty of time to plan for this wonderful outing. ItÂs the 3rd Annual Butterflies, Dragonflies and Summertime Things Festival at Bastrop Gardens. I heard about this last year, and went only because there was nothing else going on that weekend, and I was bored. What a pleasant surprise it turned out to be.

Along with tours of the gardens, there were a few arts and crafts booths set up, as well as many naturist information booths. It was also a great way to meet many of my new Bastrop area neighbors.

If you are in the Bastrop/Austin area, this would be well worth the trip.
