Planning ahead for the San Antonio Swap

I have acquired a white Plumbago and started some cuttings for the swap in October. They are doing well, but the info I have says they take about 60 days to get going.

If there is a lot of interest for the swap in October, I will start more cuttings now. Let me know.

I am also planning on bringing more of the angel wing begonia and variegated potato vine that "sold out" last time.

An example of "better to give"....back in March, because I was new here, I had almost nothing going in my garden so I took cuttings from the angel wing and really had to cut it down to get enough for the swap. It now looks better than ever because it was cut back.

If you can start more cuttings in this heat, go for it ! You might not have many takers online here, but I'm sure you'll have takers at the swap.

I'm glad that your angelwing is doing better. It's scary to cut your favorite things, isn't it ?

You may have a little more attention if you post your question about the white plumbago in Exchanges instead of Conversations. Personally, though, I'd say to start as many as you can. What you don't give away, you can save for the spring swap and they'll be bigger by then.
