Hi Donna, we have a large plant swap each spring and fall near Ft. Worth. You can look at our club site to see the date of the next plant swap.

It's usually in October. You'll see a lot of gardenwebbers at the swap.

We'd love to have you come.

We haven't set a date yet for the next Ft Worth Swap.

It's usually early in November, when the weather is cooler, & we try to start posting about 6 weeks or so in advance to give people time to get ready (start plants for pre-trades, etc).

*but*...

around about August...or maybe July this very dry year...when the heat & drought have stressed gardener as well as garden, we often have a casual get-together to visit & chat & re-charge our gardening batteries.

In the past, they've been held in air-conditioned mid-cities locations:

We had 1 or 2 at a pizza place in Haltom City, at least 1 at a Starbucks, can't recall other sites.

The one we had one year at the Starbucks across from Irving Mall was really nice.

I like that idea Sylvia potting shed talk. Don't know if I can make it or not but if it gets set up I'd sure try and make it.
This might be fun to do, anyone that has house plants they want to get rid of and trade for something new, even cutting's of plants, Swap out gardening Magazines.
I read that now is a good time to get cutting's of hydrangeas, this is one I'd be interested in.
