Denise, try highlighting and copying the url line and see what happens

You have encountered the dreaded red X. That means you ain't permitted to use their bandwidth to link that photo off their site.

Just paste in the url, and let folks go there to view. Very easy if you have tabbed browsing.

That is really strange because I registered with Photobucket and uploaded my photos. Those are the photos I am trying to post here. I click on the link that says "share photo" and paste it into the html script.

I suppose I will just have to post the link instead of the picture. I think the picture is much more convenient though.

yes. like Jolana said, just copy the HTML line. (a right click on it may be all you need to do to copy it, or you may need to highlight it and click on copy)
Don't add anything to it. Paste it in the message box.

don't use those little boxes below the message box which are for something else.

Okay, I finally figured it out. I was looking at a post by xylophyllum - Callie and Melvana replied saying she copied the HTML tag line from the under the photo when she uses Photobucket. I tried it and it worked! Woo-hoo! I am so glad I finally figured it out. See my posting under the discussions about toads in my garden. I've been wanting to show ya'll photos of my toads.
