CWJC Project completed!

Well, it's done :). I went yesterday and completed the soaker hose fittings. I think it turned out pretty nice and inviting. Thanks again to all who donated plants, seeds, and labor :). Here's a few pictures, hope you enjoy them.

It is even more beautiful in person. When you look at the pictures, you don't really yet see the sheer number of plants. You folks were so generous, the ladies that will learn here have a wonderful backyard sanctuary, and they have you to thank.

As lovely as it is now, what a knock out it will be when it matures. That spot will invite wonderful wildlife also

I hope it does attract some hummingbirds/butterflies Jolana, it's pretty close to downtown, so they'll have to stumble across it, I think :). But if they find it, they'll have plenty to eat. And I'll bet a lot of the women attending will have never seen a hummingbird up close.

Dena thanks :). I think we're all relieved to have it done, LOL. It was hard work, but very gratifying as well.

Carrie, I can't wait to see it in the spring. I figure that most of the plants will be establishing good root systems over the next couple of months and through the winter. Any blooms we get now are a bonus :). Then, next spring, everything will be coming out like gangbusters! Although, your cypress vines have amazed me! They are already to the top of the lattice and blooming great :). HEY.....what are you doing on here anyway? I thought you and hubby were out on the open road still????

I am still on the open road, Kristi --- we are in Moab, Utah today and tomorrow. What a trip, and so many pics.
I tried to post some of the bears in Rapid City, but these internet services at the camps are not the best, and it would not let me get through. Later ------------
