Yeah, Kathy, I'm with you. Besides, as dry as it is, it would just get dirty again anyway- waste of time and water.

The last time we had rain I had my car detailed a few days before it rained, that was the the good rain we had, So it might help out LOL. Only problem was that it didn't last long at all, I still had to water after a few days went by.
We need cooler temps and rain. I keep hoping that fall weather will be here soon.

"Fall weather" doesn't seem to start here until November ... sigh

I'm going to run the dirt as paint protector theory by my dh. He's always fussing at me about my car being dirty.lol

natvtxn, I read in the bamboo muhly post about your dil's accident. I'm glad they are ok!! Did the person that caused the accident stick around or keep going?

trsinc, He, (a teen) left the area, but returned with his father or grandfather.
When my son drove up he almost had a heart attack when he saw the jeep and my DIL sitting on the ground. EMS insisted they go to the hospital since the car had rolled.
They are both fine. She has a cut on her thumb. Their guardian angels were riding with them.

(Whew!)I am so happy for you and your family being safe. I wish you could(fantasy land time) take a picture of everyone in good shape from wearing their seat belt and send it to every mail box in the country! PJ

This is funny. Yesterday evening it was looking like rain so I dragged the soaker hose out to my rose bed and turned it on. I shook my fist at the sky and dared it to rain. Sure enough, 10 minutes later, it started to rain.

Hope others out there got a little shower yesterday, too.

I watered through my little shower. It was little. The overcast weather allowed me to rinse off dusty leaves without burning and helped cool it off a bit. I was happy even when all it did was muck up my car windows! LOl!PJ
