A few days ago, there was a funny article re. weatherforecasters in our local paper. 2 of the weatherguys reported people were so much nicer to them after the recent rains, and several even told them "good job" and thanked them, as though they were resposible for the rain, and probably for the preceding drought as well.

Last night I was looking up the Farms Almanac weather and it say's we're in for a wet winter. I sure hope the lakes get filled up.
Being that I go to my dad's everyday with driving him around at least twice a week to get him out of the house, his favorite drive is out to Benbrook lake. My dad is 74 years young and today when we drove out there he commented that this is the first time he's ever seen the lake this low. Where the boat dock is there's nothing but grass going far out into where the lake use to be.

Barb, I think they made the same prediction for this past winter. Go figure.
