It is in five days but I never know if I'll get to be online or not. I was sent the site and wanted to share it.

I dread the anniversary date. Let us hope it comes and passes without incident.

Don't forget to fly your flag Monday...say a prayer for our troops and our wonderful free USA.

i fear too many have already forgotten the shock/magnitude of that day...others have begun to blame the victims. i could never forget that horrid day...and the looming realization that all of the donated blood would not be needed, doctors and nurses standing about waiting for the injured that never came; even now tears must be choked back at such remembrances. today i bought a new flag for the day. i will display it proudly and in memory of those who died that day, wondering how their families are holding up. it is my hope that on monday, people will put away their politics and simply remember the dead whose only wrong was to go to work on a clear sept morning.

The "fdny" site doesn't say that it's affiliated with the City of New York or with the Fire Dept.

The paypal link for making a donation does not say that your donation will benefit firefighters;
it says that the donation goes to "fdny".
In other words, it looks like your money goes to the website itself.
