Is everyone ok from IKE?

Hi everyone remember me? Sorry I havenÂt posted in a long time I had knee surgery in July and have an open wound where they cut out the infection that will take months to heal. Then I couldnÂt remember my login information and just found it tonight.

Is everyone ok from IKE? Everyone get their power back on. It is heart wrenching to see the destruction that Ike did to Galveston and all the other counties.

Has anyone heard from Tally? I sent her and email and tried to call her. I hope and pray she is ok and her home is still there.

We were very lucky we didnÂt have any damage or loss of elec during the storm then Sept 22 Centerpoint started doing rolling black outs in our area no elec for 12 to 14 hrs then on for 3-5 hrs this went on from the 22-25th.

Hey girl! The house survived, water was 1" from entering. Mom 2' in her house, brother 9' and his house is 3 1/2' off ground, Aunt to roofline, cousin 2' in second floor, niece and nephew lost apts., sister-in-law 5'-they floated around on their mattress! The storage shed flooded so lost some christmas, halloween, nothing too major. The yard is toast!
Are ya'll coming for the motorcycle rally? Downtown and the strand are in terrible shape, nothing is open, there is a curfew, piles of debris...
