I hear they have some good restaurants, and such, but you might not find any nice parks or other "garden spots" there.

I have mostly flown in and out, so can't offer more.

Well, I did'nt see anything or eat anywhere. I ref'ed 11 games Saturday starting at 8am and I arrived back at the Hotel after 10pm. This morning I ref'ed a few more and my legs said "Enough" so I pack up and drove back to San Angelo. I bought some shoe inserts to put in my cleats and I think those saved my feet.

Someone found the chapstick and decorated the hotel window.

A budding artist? She is sooo cute. Aren't you worried about posting pictures of her? There are so many sickos today. Or at least we know about them more than years ago.

She loves to draw! There has always been sickos, and there always be sickos. The thought has never really crossed my mind but it does not worry me to post photos of her.

Well, it's probably too late to post this answer, but there are sand dunes somewhere in the vacinity of Midland/Odessa. They are messy, but a lot of fun to play on. If you ever go back to that area, especially with your kids, it's worth heading over that way.
