I just want to wish everyone a very happy turkey day! My DH and I are visiting our DD, SIL & Granddaughter here in Hawaii where our SIL is stationed!

This is the one that got away, so I guess it will be a Butterball this year!

Hawaii....I am so jealous.

Linda, you're so lucky.

Pick a mango for me and don't forget to drink a drink out of a coconut while you're laying on the beach under the tall palm trees. (sigh)

How wonderful a vaction / family visit in Hawaii. Smell all the flowers for me. Maybe someday I'll get to travel, sigh.

We were up on the North Shore yesterday, and boy the ways were breaking. I'm too faint of heart to go out in that water and surf. BTW, yes it is a wild turkey hen. There are a bunch of them over in Refugio County. I shoot them only with my camera!

And to everyone else, Thanks! The plants are absolutely incredible. I've never seen any place where plants grow like they do here.

I've always wanted to visit Hawaii too, but after my kids moved here with the Army, I figured why not go? I booked the tickets back the first part of June, and with a free place to stay, it doesn't cost too much.

Linda, I can't believe you are in Hawaii, I sure hope that you bring back some plumerias. A lady at my church has a purple one she brought back from Hawaii.
