What a wonderful event this was. Wreaths Across America raises money to buy wreaths and lays them on the grave sites of service that have pass.
I raised funds, purchased and laid 40 wreaths today

Seeing the tombstones today was humbling, it was an honor to pay some respect to fallen members. Walking by, you see Vietnam; Korea; World War II ...I was intrigued by a headstone I found that read Army Air Corps and and another that had World War I.
I was not prepared when I walked upon a man and women paying their respect over a site. I looked at the dates and immediately was met with sorrow. I was in the area of my peers, the men and women of my generation KIA Afghanistan, KIA Iraq. I became a little overwhelmed for a minute when I saw that that I was also deployed to the same places at the exact same times they killed. If you can, make time and visit a national cemetery and just walk around.
