| Ferris, Texas (just off 75, which is also I-45, which is also the Houston Highway) has a very nice park with a pavillion & a barbeque pit...
& it's free free free! It's right next to the library (bathroom!), which is open from 10 AM til 2 PM on Saturdays. This site might be perfect for gardeners who can't get to the FW Swap. Let me know if you are interested! |

| Thanks, Phyllis! Does anyone remember the screen name of the young mom in the White Rock/East Dallas area who was so big into gardening, maybe last summer, maybe summer before last? I bet there're lots of gardeners in that area! |

| I am interested. I think I can get some people to come. I am trying to get my friend and his wife to come out to the FT Worth Swap, but if they can't this one would be nice and close for them. |

| If there was something more easterly, towards Rockwall for example, I'd come. Garland and Mesquite would be good, too. |

| Hey sowthefrikan, It's not to far from Mesquite, but I understand every mile hurts now a days. If you want to have a swap on that part of town that would be great I would come. |

| and the Swap is on! We'll be there Saturday from about 10 to about 2. We decided to bill it as a "Swap & Sale" since we don't know how many will show up with plants. hope to see y'all there! It's on Mabel St, at the pavilion behind the library, just west of I-45 (the road from Dallas to Houston). questions? 214 738 4314 |
