Ferris Swap? Ennis/Kaufman/Garland/Mesquite People?

Ferris, Texas (just off 75, which is also I-45, which is also the Houston Highway) has a very nice park with a pavillion & a barbeque pit...
& it's free free free!

It's right next to the library (bathroom!), which is open from 10 AM til 2 PM on Saturdays.

This site might be perfect for gardeners who can't get to the FW Swap.

Let me know if you are interested!

Thanks, Phyllis!

Does anyone remember the screen name of the young mom in the White Rock/East Dallas area who was so big into gardening, maybe last summer, maybe summer before last?

I bet there're lots of gardeners in that area!

I am interested. I think I can get some people to come. I am trying to get my friend and his wife to come out to the FT Worth Swap, but if they can't this one would be nice and close for them.

If there was something more easterly, towards Rockwall for example, I'd come. Garland and Mesquite would be good, too.

Hey sowthefrikan, It's not to far from Mesquite, but I understand every mile hurts now a days. If you want to have a swap on that part of town that would be great I would come.

and the Swap is on!

We'll be there Saturday from about 10 to about 2.

We decided to bill it as a "Swap & Sale" since we don't know how many will show up with plants.

hope to see y'all there!

It's on Mabel St, at the pavilion behind the library, just west of I-45 (the road from Dallas to Houston).

questions?
