I'd heard that some kind of oaks (post oaks maybe?) are "promiscuous", but "columbine hussies" are a new idea to me!

I've had only one columbine to return in the past (a nice light blue one), & I haven't seen it yet this year.

(*After* I got 3 or 4 at an end-of-season sale one year, I read that our climate is too harsh & that I should stick with the hardy native columbines.)

Y'all must be in full "spring mode" now, with your gardens just bursting.

When I take things to the swap, I always think I've cleared out enough space in the garden to allow for the growing season, & I always think I'm not going to bring home very much.

You really will need space in your gardens for all the wonderful things you'll bring home!

I would like to pre-trade with you columbine seed or plants, spider lilies, your aster and your wealth of knowledge. I'm very new to gardening but have amaryllis belladonna "naked ladies" pink bulbs the size of a Texas Sweet Onion that I can trade with you or my homemade oatmeal cookies.
