Just wanted to make sure all of you knew about the Galveston County Plant Swap coming up on May 17 at the Walter Hall Park pavilion in League City. Registration will begin at 9:45 am. All swappers must have plants or gardening items for entry into the pavilion, and must register, and get a hand stamp. We will be having a great picnic, along with a silent auction, a 50/50 raffle, great door prizes, a Master Gardener's concierge table and a free recycle area for swappers only. Bring your old or gently used gardening items to put in our recycle area, and a dish for the picnic. Please remember our swap etiquette. It is listed on our new "interactive" website where you can post your haves and wants and sign up to bring a picnic dish or item. It is always a blast and we guarantee you will go home with lots of goodies! If you are a Master Gardener and would like to earn hours for working the swap, please contact me. Hope to see everyone there!!!!! Mary Ellen (wildflowers4me)

RE: WANTED: Galveston County Plant Swap

Where do I sign up for the garden swap meet, plus I am willing to donate items for the picnic as well.
This is my first year attending the meet and am very excited to meet other gardeners, plus it sounds like lots of fun just being there!!!

RE: WANTED: Galveston County Plant Swap

Have fun, I won't be able to attend. I have to go to San Francisco for a class. Don't ya'll feel sorry for me?

And ME, I don't like the new site as well. It's much harder to negotiate. Such is life.
Tally HO!
