Ferris is a small town just south of Dallas on Hwy 75 (I-45, the Houston Highway, etc).

On Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM, we'll have a very informal garden swap at the park by the Library.

Bring your plants, tools, gloves, books, & goodies, & have a great time!

I wish I could make this one, but have to help at the Dallas Organic Garden Club plant sale.
Have fun!

It's a new swap;
we had one last spring, & there was some interest, but I was over-obligated & didn't follow up in the autumn.

Then someone asked the librarians when the spring swap was going to be, & they gave her my #!

Since I'm thinking that people will bring their children, I'm taking some good, easy, fragrant things like mints, garlic, oregano, etc.

don't know what I'll come home with...
probably library books!

Ferris Swap was a success!

We had people from nearby & from far away, & I got a really nice pair of black earrings (ever notice how dang hard it is to find a nice white blouse or a nice pair of black earrings???) in return for, uh, something or other.

Thanks to all who made it a success!
