Red salvia! That stuff is taking over the world!
I've no idea yet, the backgarden is totally overgrown and there is a lot out there that needs to be divided, moved, cut back. We hope to get out there this weekend and start working.

my list of what I'm bringing.
Most of these are small specimens and/or grown in styrofoam coffee cups except for 2, 14 and 15

    1. green wandering jew (3) (not giant - baby pink flowers) - with roots but dug up recently Tues-Nov3
    2. Marguerite sweet potato vine plant - lime green - 3 plants solidly rooted from 2 months ago (I love this plant)
    3. Crepe Myrtle - lavender (3 -2 month old cuttings rooted in paper cups and 1 plant dug with good root - from a 20 ft tree - believed to be 60 years old (i.e. not a new hybrid Crepe) - lovely when in bloom
    4. arrowhead vine (3) - shade to part sun - once established, will survive drought even if they wilt a bit before coming back with rain/water- speciments well rooted in baggies
    5. butterfly iris (3) - dug and recently potted
    6. Hens and Chicks (5) - cuttings taken (and very recently potted) Monday Nov2nd
    7. Boston fern (3) (or maybe sword tail) - dug a couple months ago - small specimens but well rooted
    8. dwarf Katie Ruellia (2)- blue - dug and recently potted (Nov 2nd)
    9. chocolate plant - dug and recently potted (Nov 2nd)
10.purple heart - dug and recently potted (Nov 1st)
    11. umbrella grass (3) - dug and recently potted (Nov 1st)
    12. penta - pink - dug up on Monday, potted on Tuesday, Nov 3
    13. peperomia - (I think) - rooted cuttings - water sparingly from below because of tendency to rot (according to web page) - may be better houseplant during winter cold
    14. Black Magic elephant ears (one plant) - dug and recently potted Nov 2
    15. Washingtonia Palm (I think) - 18 inches tall- volunteer in my compost -wasn't graceful dug out(Nov 1) and potted - only a little bit of root captured - if these are fragile plants, may not survive - fast growing

Unfortunately, I will not be able to be there this saturday as I had planned. I have been struggling with sciatica pain and I am waiting to see the results of an MRI taken this week.
Yadda, I'm so sorry that I will not be there to take your plants to you.

    tamixwp -
I sent you an email requesting some trailing lantana - several cuttings if you can spare. That is at the top of my list of "wants".
My list is not very long but you can have anything you want except the black magic elphant ear which has already been promised.
Would also like some dwarf papyrus and some Ellen Bosanquet crinum if I'm not being too greedy.

    --Alice
