Very nice bunch of elephants you have in your pen! I'd never seen the crested one before. Nice! I looked it up and one source said it's hardy down to 5 degrees.

Black coral is quite an impressive color. Illustris is beautiful too. I've got one from a swap a couple of years ago and thought I had lost it from the heat and drought, but it came back. I wasn't watching it close enough and let it get too dry.

The Mohito and Thailand Giant you passed along are doing great, but the bat tailed one didn't make it last winter even though I had it in the green house.

I've always had two spots where I plant the basic variety every year. Our weather has been so hot and dry the last two years they have done poorly. Nice to see some that are thriving!

Roselee - I have another that is said to be hardy to 5 deg. I don't have a picture, but it is very pretty with dark bronze undersides on the leaves. It is Alocasia wentii.
