More Garden Art ...

There are a couple of new pieces of garden art that it's hoped you'll enjoy seeing. A dear friend gave me this darling dove pot which is placed on a pillar from Yeya's ...

This same wonderful person also gave me several terra cotta six sided pipes of which 6 were stacked 3 on 3 on a 12 in. stepping stone toped with a 16 in. stepping stone. The greyhound indoor statue was deteriorating in the weather so he was given a thick spray of fake stone paint. What about faking some moss on the pipes with green paint sponged on?

The resting lady isn't new, but but she was moved next to these Blue hill salvias. I love how the yellow lichen has grown on her ...

David has become even more engulfed with Wanderin' wind roses ...

Rebecca has a few Leonie Lamesch roses of her own to enhance her image ...

The old jug is a favorite hang out for the anole lizard. He's soaked up the sun there for several days in a row ...

Not garden art, but I wanted to show you the very fragrant blooms of one of the Teneza trees ...

However I think the way the dew drops have stacked themselves on a Prairie Harvest rose to be very artsy ...

All for now. Not promising there won't be more because I love to take and share photos. I'm VERY happy that more of you do too :-) Let's keep them coming in this great spring!

I love the new dove pot and the column that it is resting on...a lovely addition! The faux moss would look great on the terra cotta tiles. What is the pretty yellow/orange bloom to the front left of the tile column? Is that bulbine? The greyhound looks so regal on top! I like the color of the lichen on the resting lady too!

David is nearly engulfed...lol.

I don't blame the anole for staking out that pot, it's very pretty!

I like that Teneza bloom, first time seeing that for me. What could be prettier than a yellow rose covered in dewdrops?

I really like the column the dove sits on, and the roses are beautiful.

Thanks for the kind words, but I don't think of my garden as being any nicer than any of yours. If anything it's just I've been at it longer and had more time to do some serious plant collecting and the collection has to go somewhere. Sometimes it dies and goes to heaven and then I have room to collect some more ... LOL

Pam, you're right. The orange flower is bulbine. Thanks for your comments.

Carrie, I like whole garden shots too and I'll take some when more things like the phlox and bougainvilleas are blooming. Right now there's just a large expanse of green -- most of it larkspurs which are just starting to show color. I should have thinned them out. Some of them are six feet tall! No kidding. Wonderful what a little rain will do. I'm enjoying the results while it lasts.

RAIN and warmth, Roselee..............I had to laugh at your larkspurs being so high .....some of mine are almost a foot high....LOL> I will look forward to the full garden shot. It is impossivle to do that at my house as it is scattered over a couple of acres.

What a lovely home Rosalee. Love the garden art. I too have whimsical art. I have a giant dragonfly, ladybug, and butterfly throughout my garden.
