That's the kind of gardening help I like! She is such a pretty girl. Richard don't turn around, because when you turn back, she'll be 12.

"Rain snow mix" is the latest word for tomorrow night melvalena! 23 for a low.

And, she really is a sweet one. LOVES being outside in the yard and garden.

Thanks Jim. That is the one bed where the tulips will come back pretty good year to year for me. I don't know if my other beds don't have good enough drainage, get too dry or what but the other ones are just good for a year or two max and that gets a little pricey with the cost of tulip bulbs nowdays (and the number I like to plant!)

Haha, not to worry, malvalena, it doesn't take a jinx to get CRAZY weather swings up here on the high plains. 90 today, 19 and a little snow mix tomorrow night!

There was probably a reason the first Europeans described it as a treeless plain.

That is one cute kid. Is she the same one you took pictures of in the pumpkin last fall? Or am I mixing up grandkids?

    Either way - adorable.

I was out a little this morning and when your body is used to 90 the day before... that three degree windchill just slices right through you. It was worse than Jan and February! ha

You know, RC, MN has a really weird sense of humor sometime....................a little on the dark side. We just have to grin and bear ii and know that it will get better. I am enjoying the weather we are having right now........don't even mind all the weeding I am having to do this year. I hope things are better for you, and you can now get on with the joys of the rewards of gardening.
