LOL, just yesterday I told Diane I need to look up and see which I had gotten from you. Not many this year due to the drought. There are maybe ten plants in the front yard. :(.

Thanks for looking! I am really enjoying them this year, spring was a long time coming.

Pepa I sow the poppy seeds as soon as they get ripe and the little windows open at the top of the seed pod. They can be sown in the fall also. I usually just pour them out into my hand and toss them where I would like some next year.

Carrie there are always lots of bees here, but this year they seem to have just taken over. They had the crossvines covered for the whole bloom cycle too.

Kathy I had hoped you would have a better stand of them than that. Maybe the wind is blowing the seeds into the lawn. The iris that Indu got from you are really doing good. I am going to have to get her to give me some pointers because iris always rot during the winter in my garden.

Thanks Molly. The vine is Petrea volubilis. It has several common names including Sandpaper vine, Bluebird vine, and Queen's Wreath vine. I've had it for three years, but moved it twice trying to find it a perfect home. I think I've found it's place on that little arbor.
