Looking for a black rose? Well, this one comes pretty close.

It looks pretty odd from a distance. Not like a rose bush at all ...
But this is why I bought it. I wanted a healthy, fragrant, repeat blooming burgandy rose and right now I can't keep my eyes off of it or my nose out of it. The color won't last through the hot weather though. It turns a brighter red with the outer petals fading to purple during summer.
