I did enjoy them! The sun and moon look extra large ... wonder why that is?

I think part of it is a bit of an optical illusion when the sun/moon gets something for the eye to compare it to on the horizon. There have been whole articles that talk about why the moon sometimes looks, or seems to look, so huge at times.

But, on these pics, I think zooming in on the sun with a zoom lens also helps that perception in the minds eye.

In any event, it was neat to see one live and I'm glad I was able to get some pics. Some places were overcast. That would have been no fun.
