I notice 'polka dot' plants in the fourth photo down. I grew my first ones last year and now see little plants coming up from seed. That's certainly a beautiful coleous in the same planter. Nice combo.

Thanks, everyone. We just so enjoy every new sprout or bloom that comes up. We compare one stem to another or even to last year's blooms. When everything picks up like this...... well, it just gives one a feeling of abundance. Gardening is such a joy.

Yes it is !!!!! And rewards like these are what makes it all worthwhile.

Thanks, Bossjim, We love the plumeria trees. We actually have three plumerias trees,,,,,. two pinks and one yellow, but this one was the first to bloom this year. We have five smaller ones from cuttings that are beginning to leaf out. We're not sure how long it takes new cuttings to bloom. We've Googled it, and one website says that if cuttings bloom the first year, it is from the 'mother' plant and they will not bloom the next year.

We had another fuchsia last year and it didn't make it through the summer. We actually looked for a purple fuchsia this year, but we have not been able to find one anywhere. We're still hoping to find one.
