Dang, Richard, sorry the last few years have been so hard on your garden. I remember very well how beautiful it has been in the fairly recent past. Hopefully better weather will come around again for you.

I feel for ya! 100* already????? wow. You made me go take a look at what ours should be.............................. we don't even have 90* in the next 10 days!!

That has got to be tough on the plants as well as those looking after them!

Hey, thanks for comisserating with me guys! Yeah, it really has been tough gardening weather up here for several years.

Never fear though, the grandbaby is a thousand times more fun to "grow"!

And, on a much more somber note, our dry weather and hot/cold issues pale in comparison the tragic tornado that just hit Granbury. We've been missing out on all that kind of danger with our drought. So, while I grumble here amongst friends who can appreciate the gardening aggravations, I love all the blessings more than the other!

You are so right, RC, and I can appreciate your thinking. It helps to grumble now and then as long as we don't lose sight of the "real" things that are important to us. I have so many blessings, they really cannot be counted one by one, so when I grumble, it is always with these in mind.

Today's news from Oklahoma brings home how much health means. Prayers for all those folks there.
