They don't call them rain lillies for nothing.

I didn't even notice buds on my little group of rain
lilies yesterday and today they are in full bloom ....

I took the camera out to photograph the rain lilies,
but even though the light was low in the early morning
I took a few more photos.

The grasses are coming along very nicely. I didn't
know what to expect, but am happy to see they
are blooming early. In the foreground is Ruby
crystals. Tammy has long sung it's praises and I
finally got a couple off Lowes sale rack ...

Here is Bunny grass with Red buttons fountain
grass behind it. Not so sure that they go well
together, but at least they are blooming. I love how
they move with the slightest breeze ...

From another vantage point ...

Yet to bloom are Dwarf fountain grass (it has been very slow starting) and Pink Muhley which blooms in the fall, but the phlox are starting ...

As mentioned before the shrimp plants never stopped blooming all winter. I love the lime green color this yellow one has in the cooler seasons ...

I removed the rose that was looking rather ratty and planted the blue pot with a variety of succulents. Because of their easy care and low water needs I'll be doing more of this as the opportunity arises ...

Have a great day in the garden. Here in San Antonio it's cloudy and cool.

Incidentally, when I post using Internet Explorer the sentences run into the ads on the right so I shorten them by one word and then they are too short. They don't do that with Firefox. Anyone else noticed that problem with the browser you use?
