The daylilies are small as this is their 2nd spring.

The rose looks like Mrs. Dudley Cross' cool weather color. When it gets hotter the outside petals will turn pink. If the canes are thornless they are surely Mrs. D.C..

I really like the yarrow. It spreads, but not aggressively.
I need to transplant more of the nepeta around the daylilies when I move them around
With in the next day or so I should have pink iris open.

LOVE the daylilies! I planted several new ones this year along with many that I've had forever. Have not had one single bloom yet. I hope they don't give up because the cold. Yours blooming already has me a bit worried.

Kathy, your day lilies are really pretty. The yarrow is pretty too. I grow the white yarrow, but just for the foliage. I cut the bloom stems off before they bloom. I think you are right about your bird planted tree. I would get it out of there before it gets any bigger.

Yes, I think that's a mulberry tree. I bought one once for a grand daughter's school project. The teacher handed it out silk moth caterpillars for those who had a mulberry tree. Of course our little naturalist had to have some.

All you need is some silk moths and you'll be in business! ;-) Actually moths of all kinds find it pretty palatable and that's one of its problems..
