Wow, Jim! You have a better memory than I do. I do not remember sharing that plant with you specifically but I do remember that several years ago I had a gloriosa lily that never bloomed but I shared with a couple of people, so maybe you are right. Enjoy! It is very pretty indeed.

I'll have to keep an eye open for one then. They are lovely! I wonder why it didn't bloom for you. Same with my Bird of Paradise. It needs a home where it will bloom. Jim...wanna new foster plant ? :-)

I think it is just one of those pretty but picky plants that demands a lot of requirements at the same time. That's why I keep working with those "monsters" that grow everywhere. Jim is the MAN for those challenges.

mine have not bloomed yet. I have several of them and they grow OK, not taking over the fence like I have seen in pictures. I had one sprout after 2 years!
The blooms are worth the wait though.
