I was at the Heritage Garden and Museums in Sandwhich MA on Cape Cod. The town is like driving around a garden magazine.

Yes, indeed, RC ..............beautiful place. I loved Cape Cod when we were there to attend the wedding of the daughter of a friend of ours from Florida. The mother was originally from Cape Cod and had a lake front property for us to gather for breakfast. The church where they were married was over 300 years old, and the reception was in a beautiful old house that had been converted for such occasions. What pleasant memories I have of this trip.

It was like driving then strolling through a garden mag.

Neat place.

And, we sure didn't have to worry about crowds. Though we missed the biggest splash of Rhododendrons and were a little too early for their daylilies and hydrangeas. Bet those would really have added some color!

Thanks! Glad they are being enjoyed. I was planning on us doing mostly shopping the day we wound up at the gardens, so I didn't take my better camera. And, the light doesn't really let the color that was visible to the eye there really come through. (And or the camera guy isn't good enough!)

I double posted a couple above. Here is one I meant to post. These gardens were really spacious. This one is across a glade,70-80 yards(?) though, again, its hard to really get it from the photo. Just lovely and certainly worth the wait! Looking at the photos of this beautiful garden environment one can easily relax and imagine feeling the brisk air on the cheek. Scrolling back up to breathe it in again ... and again. Thank you. Refreshing!

Thankyou. Beautiful gardens. There are so many of them up north. And they don't have to water. I love all that lushness.

I ran away to Cape cod one disobedient weekend in my youth. Did you go for a swim. It looks cold.
