| ... Bob mowed and trimmed the grass so what better thing to do than take some pictures.
I guess I'd be growing something else if I didn't have bougainvillias and phlox, but I can't think of anything that would give more abundant blooms all summer long ..
Easy to grow Chocolate plant makes a nice foliage plant in a pot ...
I was surprised to find a coconut meringue pie look-alike in the yard. Can you guess what it is?
If this morning glory could talk what do you think it be saying?
Looking forward to your answers :-) Prize to be announced ... LOL |

| Do you really need an excuse? Your meringue smells fungal to me. I'll pass on piece of that pie! The morning glory looks like one of my kids coming up to me and saying, "Look at my lips mom! Do I look like a fish?!" Did you see this photo over in the cottage garden forum of the husband mowing? (It was in the Favorite Photos 2010 post.) You should have taken a picture of Bob! |

| LOL, bobbi that's a good one. That morning glory could be saying "this looked so easy at first!" Um, I'll pass on that fungi pie too.

| WHAT? And I was just going to cut ya'll a big piece! (Sounds like something our kids would do as an alternate to wanting us to eat their mud pies ... LOL!) I love both your captions! Hahaha ... those are GREAT. Here's a full picture the pretty 'pie' you're missing ... ;-) |

| Bobbi, I had not seen the picture, but that's a great photo to put a caption to. Looks like the poor guy just got home from work, took off his vest and coat and his wife said, "I've got gardening friends coming in 30 minutes and you BETTER get that yard mowed or ELSE!!!!" Bob gave it this one: "Here I am a Harvard Ph.D. and I still have to cut the grass!" Did the photo have a story with it? |
|
| It was just a post on your favorite 2010 photos. She didn't share a story, but there were several comments! That fungus is gorgeous-wish my meringues turned out that well! |
