Below is a picture of the opposite fence. Earlier in the summer I posted pictures of the sunflowers I planted there. Since they faded, I thought I might try something a little more long lived. I found that the pond above (with fish) is a GREAT place to root sweet potato vines, so I have LOTS of those.

Below is a just a morning glory, but I had a rough time getting them to bloom. They are in a coconut lined pot hanging on the fence. I have to water it 2-3 times a day just to keep it alive!

I like what you've done with those few inches of space beyond the fence! Are those dark leaves the 'Blackie' sweet potato vine? I like how you've planted the pots and placed them along the stone wall. The area around the pond is also very nice and tropical looking. Thanks for updating us by posting your pictures.

Thanks. Yes, they are blackies. I also have two varieties of the green ones. Both the same color, just slightly different textures. Two varieties of caladiums too; but both white.

Very nice. I have fun propagating sweet potato vines in water too. They shoot roots in 3-5 days!
