Jolana wanted to see what the backyard looked like now. I should have waited for better light. Everything looks washed out right now.

JD, seriously, that doesn't look washed out it is so very pretty. Y'all have been busy!!!
Do you work for plants? I thought I hired RC for wine but he never showed up, lol
Fluffer said he will come and mow for you sometime, lol

RE: JD's backyard

tell 'fluffer' to be careful mowing, most of my stuff has rock barriers. I suppose he and I will just have to sit on the patio and 'shoot the breeze' and count hummers.
It is amazing to look at some of the pictures from just a year ago (search JeDi for a slide show right after the water fall was finished).

J.D. that really looks great! You know, next month would be a good time to take out some more grass and expand! Oct. is a real good time to plant.

Wow! It's looking great!!!

I can't believe you did that much in ONE YEAR! You've got to be kidding us. The pictures on that other post have got to be from five or six years ago. Come on -- fess up! (Just kidding ;-)

RE: JD's backyard

Thanks guys. Even I was amazed when I compared the slideshow from just a year ago. That backyard has become my 'little paradise'. No stress back there!!
Let's see........Jolana, Carrie, and DW 'supervising' from my patio...........hmmmmmmm. Jim - can I come down there?

I really need to re-shoot those pictures on a cloudy day. That west sun made everything look kinda 'yellowish'.

More beds

Jim - I must confess........I've been thinking about more beds. I remember you goading me into bigger beds when I originally built them in 2007. It will be easy for me to enlarge the corner beds especially. I'd like to take the rock border around the back of the house and go around the patio and out around the waterfall. Maybe next year.

Bigger beds is always a better idea around this bunch.

I've got some ideas, but I have some pressing committments (new carpet in the house?) to take care of first.
