I can see that I should make better use of the Brazilan rock rose. Several years ago it was planted beside our driveway, It died, but came up from seed in the gravel and unimproved soil next to my neighbor's driveway. Go figure ...

Rose Lee, re the Brazilian rock rose, that is one plant with the center cut back a lot. I have seedlings all around it. Remind me in the spring to pot some for you.
Omar does your MG get sun? until the ash tree was cut down I got just one or 2 blooms once in a while.

Lou, the hibiscus mutabilis ( aka confederate rose) is better planted behind and at the back. It is nothing special until it blooms. In Houston they grow them more of a tree. I just let this one do it's thing.

yesterday the confederate rose had 86 blooms.

Very nice, Kathy! Your confederate rose is beautiful. If I can remember, I'll get a picture of a perennial morning glory I saw here a while back. It covers a mimosa, a crape myrtle and half a house! It is a sight, completely covered in blooms.
