Georgeanne's Brand New Greenhouse ...

Georgeanne is my good friend and neighbor who live just a few houses up the street from me. You've seen pictures of her yard on here.

Well now she has a new greenhouse. It is beautiful and all designed by her. Some of the design features came to her in a dream she said. I'm so excited about showing it to you :-)

Georgeanne and her friend Chuck who built the greenhouse ...

What's a greenhouse without a working chandelier? :-) Chuck checking out his handywork. Chuck, you'd better check on the far corner for somethihg green that is not a plant! ...

View of the pool from inside ....

Georgeanne's chickens as seen from inside ...

There's all kinds of interesting pots and nick nacks inside as well as plants ...

Isn't it the cutest thing?

It will be even more stunning when Chuck gets the patio built around it and Georgeanne puts her big pots of sago palms on each side of the entrance.

OMG, I love, love, love it. I'm trying to place it, standing from the back door, is it behind the pool? I'm so excited for her and that is the cutest. I love the color and I love that weenie dog plant holder, lol

Looking out the back sliding glass doors the greenhouse is on the left beyond the pool. Georgeanne designed the shape of the greenhouse to fit the spot.

BTW, she has a real weenie dog :-) See Cleopatra in the photo below :-)

Notice the white wandering jew on the right of the picture. It's very lush and delicately beautiful and doesn't get out of hand like the purple one ...

Thought you all might enjoy seeing the inviting side yard with the iron gate and honey bee plaque ...

Thanks for your comments Jolana. Georgeanne will apppreciate them.

Cleopatra, hehehe
You are so welcome, I truly love that bluehouse
That is a very sweet jew and the side yard is very inviting
Last question, does Georgeanne allow squatters? LOL

Wow, that really is a beautiful dream. So perfect for the site. Love those Tequila lights, too. A really beautiful yard, too.

So Jolana, maybe you can use something like this for your "pot." lololololol......

Awesome! I already love Georgeanne (good thing my wife is not a "gardenwebber"). No, seriously, what I mean is that you can tell she's a very interesting and artistic person.

OMG, lol. Shirley, I think I prefer my tarp, riskier and more thrilling, LMBO

Omar, I understand, I love her too, lol, plus, she has chickens. Plus, plus, she lives close to Roselee, lol
That is a great plant house

You're right Jolana -- it's not a greenhouse, it's a bluehouse LOL

Shirley I agree, Jolana could 'pot' up lots of stuff in the bluehouse :-) Georgeanne certainly does!

Omar, we won't tell your wife about this thread or she might put you to work! ;-) Georgeanne's talents are numerous and Chuck is very creative too. He had to be in order to make Georgeanne's dream design a reality. Hahaha! It is hard to tell from the pictures, but the house is a very odd shape.

Also Chuck made this plaque out of an antique metal ceiling tile, acorns, leaves, twigs, paint and sealer. Why didn't we ever think of making something cute like this? ...

Everywhere you look in her yard there is something interesting to see ...

I love what she did with an oak stump. Gotta' find something to put a pot of ghost plants to tumble over 'on' ... (I'm from the south :-)

The swing is made out of old found pieces of wood including old fence posts. Underneath are salvaged bricks. On the left is a vegetable garden. You can see the wire cages on that veggies grow on ...

One of her pots ...

Hope the photos give you some garden ideas. Georgeanne always inspires me and her generosity in passing along plants is legendary also!
