Suggestions, please. Plants for dry sandy shade area?

I need to plant something in several old cemetery plots in Colorado county. The area has high filtered shade from old oaks & a deep sandy loam. The plants won't receive regular watering, but the area has pretty high rainfall.

I've tried a few ogrs (too shady plus they got chopped). Maybe a hybrid musk, if I plant it between the stones where it won't receive "maintenance", aka "mow over everything".

A few rosemary plants have survived, & look good, though I know they'd like more sun.

I was thinking maybe ajuga or spearmint, perhaps ponyfoot. Any ideas?
