Thanks for posting the list of experts, I never knew there were so many diffrent crinum bulbs. I guess I will just call this my red and white crinum. I now have a pink, white, red leaf, and red and white crinum. I love them all. Barbra

I saw the Lowes bulbs/plants too and grabbed a jet black, almost glossy, elephant ear (it wasn't black magic, but I can't remember the name, have to look at the package)...have you all had any experience with their bareroot daylilies? Are they good quality?

Sorry, I have nothing to add to this discussion except that I bought 5 large elephant ear bulbs last year and not one of them even sprouted. First time I've ever had that happen!

And that is unfortunate news about the elephant ears, I guess I'll just cross my fingers and hope for the best!

It was last spring when I saw them and thought... You don't have any of these in the yard... hmmm, there was cash burning a hole in my pocket at the time.

Oh wow that sounds fun! I have some football mums that I ordered online this summer, but I ordered extra bc they were on sale, and I was sure I would kill some...but I didn't kill as many as I thought!

This weather is womderful and the call to plant is strong.

Found some big fat bulbs in bags of 30 mixed at Sam's this week. Somewhere between $14 and $15. I haven't opened them, but the bulbs I could feel are often called extra large. Now I have a reason to look at Lowe's
