Ahhh, so glad she noticed!!! I agree with Lou, I would garden if no one saw it but me, but it is, oh so nice, when your have other gardeners to share it with and to have someone who doesn't garden appreciate what you do. This is a nice thread.

We gardeners tend to see only what needs to be done, or that our efforts fall short of what we had envisioned.

Yes, it's always nice to feel appreciated, but I was thinking more of what she said: "Bringing the flowers back" as though we gardeners are like characters in an old Disney movie, dancing merrily through the woods leaving bright flowers and smiling animals in our wake.

I have always known that gardening is a labor of love but for this to be set to music is just wonderful. True gardeners love to share. I just received a brown sack on my front door this week with no note but after looking them over I finally realized they were onion sets. I do not have much room but I managed to find a place for them as my family uses a lot of onions every week. We are to receive a bit of rain today so they should get a nice start as it looks like our spring may have already started. After looking at some of the gardens on this website I would say many of our gardeners are like Disney and bring magic for use to enjoy each and every year.
