I can always depend on Winter honeysuckle bush, Sweet olive and four nerve daisy. With all the rain the shrubs are absolutely covered with fragrant blooms. The Four nerve daisy never stops blooming. It has flowers winter, spring, fall and summer.

Eight years ago I planted a Camellia expecting that she would be my January/February feature. This weekend, she bloomed for the first time ever....I felt like such a proud parent.

Daylilies they have been blooming non stop. Also my orange bird of paradise, and hibiscus plants are blooming. I have alot of plants blooming, since we did not have a freeze this year. Barbra

My Texas Scarlet quince, Justicia spicijera, anemones, daffodils and leucojums (summer snowflakes)are always dependable bloomers in January/february, regardless of the weather conditions. Other plants and bulbs may or may not bloom during this time depending on the winter temps, but I can always count on these.

only January bloomers for my are the Rjnveld eary sensation daffodils, then the other daffs start in Feb. anemones, candy tuft, hyacinths, tulips are taking off now. But I adored the Saucer Magnolias....aka Tulip Trees that are putting on a show right now
