Many years back we had some apple trees here - forget what happened to them - probably gophers. I don't remember if we had any apple cedar rust - but we do have those things on the cedar trees that swell up with fingers after a rain (connected ??) Well - I would like to take a stab at planting some dwarf or semi-dwarf fruit trees hopefully that ripen in the fall as we might be gone most of the summer.

Any suggestions for the apple trees ? or should I pass.

Don't want to have to spray the trees every 2 weeks all summer long either. Want more organic easy way of going.

Anyway - thanks for any suggestions/advice.
