If anyone has any ideas, I would very much appreciate them! I am the director at a small town library. In front of the library (west-facing) we have two very large oak trees providing full shade and root-filled dirt for the front yard. Of course we can't get any grass to grow there.

Can you give me any suggestions to try that will grow in our very sandy, fully shaded area? Invasive is not a problem, the area is fully enclosed by sidewalks and/or parking lot. We don't have a lot of time to devote to care, but we do have a volunteer who is willing to do basic gardening maintenance.
