Try these stunners in summer's powerful heat for garden thrills with an exotic flair
Full StoryI have an Ellen Bosanquet crinum that has been severely damaged by the ice and hard frosts. Almost all of the leaves in the entire clump are brown and limp. Generally, I just remove damaged leaves, but this year I have to trim much more. Can I cut the entire stalk (stem) down to the ground, or do I just remove all of the leaves, leaving the tall, unsightly neck?
