Rain Barrel Question for San Antonio Gardeners

Howdy,

I'm looking for 55 gallon food-grade barrels to make rain barrels. I'm not really sure where to find them in the area beyond scouring craigslist. Are there any recycling centers or used equipment stores that might sell some cheap? Where did you get your rain barrels?

Try Dave's Barrels - he brought some very nice ones to the Wilson County Gardenin Days - he has only food grade barrels - he's fairly reasonable, too.

Is he the guy off Roosevelt in SA. If so then yes go to him. Stay away from the white barrels as they don't stand up to the elements very well
