Where to Purchase Heirlooms?

Posted by midnightbirdgirl Zone 7 (My Page) on

Hello all, after turning, amending and tilling and amending and tilling some more, I am almost ready to plant. I just south of Denton and was wondering if anyone has any advice on where to purchase heirloom vegetable seedlings, I know some of the larger stores how the tomatoes, but what about other vegetables?
I don't mind driving about an hour or so.
Thank you so much!!

There is a great nursery called North Haven Gardens in Dallas. You might give them a call. They are extremely helpful and I'm sure that they can steer you in the right direction.

They were helpful, and very nice.
They said have just tomatoes and peppers as far as heirlooms, and were not too big on heirlooms no seeds either. So, I guess I will have to order online.
Thank you! ;-)
