Might have gotten sun burned. You might try it outside in dappled shade.

I'm not familiar with California jasmine, could it be a Carolina Jessamine? Anywho, where do you live/what zone? And did you plant it or just take it outside in its pot?

I had replanted it a bigger pot. So i took the pot outside and placed it in an area were it would get partial sun and be close to a wall to vine on. I live in round rock Texas the zone finder said it is zone 8 I am not sure what that means

Did you add any fertilizer when you re-pottered? Did you make sure the pot has holes for drainage? Did you provide enough water?

Zone 8 is one of the 11 growth zones the USDA has divided our country. Each zone has a range of low temperatures. The same way, plants have different winter hardiness. If you plant a plant that only grows in zone 11 (tropical areas) it will not survive the winter, say, at Round Rock (zone 8). The main idea is that you can match the zone where you plant can survive with the place where are you going to plant it (see link below). Based on what you stated on your post, your plant should overwinter well in Round Rock.

Well ... not sure what is hurting your jasmine but a couple of thoughts are that you shocked it three times: you took it out of its cozy home, you transplanted it, and you exposed it to the elements. All at the same time. We're in the same zone and we've had some very warm spring days so far and also some windy and cold days. Either of those conditions could shock your little plant. Recommend you try bringing it back outside but in a covered location like a patio. Let it get used to being outside for a week or two then introduce it to the sun. We have some mild days coming up, but full sun so be careful not to let it get sun scalded. It should perk up just fine by mid-April. Good luck.
