Want to learn about how to draw hummingbirds to your garden? Or how to draw birds in general?

The Cherokee County Master Gardeners Association is having Connie Farrar speak on just those topics April 9th in Jacksonville. Connie and her husband, Bill are owners of Rubicon Wild Birds and More store in Flint.

Her talk will begin at 11:00 at the Woodmen of the World facility in Jacksonville. There is no fee for attendance and the public is welcomed to attend.

Will you be able to post some details of the talk (if you are attending)? Would love to know more. I planted a few natives and I noticed that hummers are actually more attracted to the flowers than to the feeder.

Yes, if people are interested and can't attend, I'll try to figure a way to get the information out.

I understand that the color RED is the key...and the flowers show more red than the feeder. Guess I'll know more after the talk!
