Magnificent plant. Milbergers is the "go to" place for the unusual. I was quite taken with their Japanese Blueberry specimens (these get over 40 ft. tall), but couldn't find a suitable place for one.

I like the Japanese blueberry too. When planting this guy i washed away most of the container mix (glad i did because i found a huge bamboo stake right next to trunk just below soil line) i opened and spread roots, and planted it. It hasn't shown any signs of resenting the root work, and the candles keep stretching more every day. But the true test is blistering heat of August. We will see....
