Plant ID

Came by this thing last summer and it has survived the winter on the patio. Seems to be a bulb.......thanks for responding

Kinda hard to tell at this point. Once it blooms you'll be able to tell a lot more about it.

perhaps spiderwort (tradescantia)?

Almost seems like a yucca sprouting out of an old stump.

It is most likely Yucca recurvifolia or one of the Dracaenas. I've never gotten a positive ID, but I've seen them for sale at Home Depot and Lowes.

They grow here outdoors and only will freeze back when temps get into the lower teens for long hous. They do well next to a house and can grow over 10 feet tall. Their blooms look similar to some yuccas.
