I nearly killed #1 by not watering at least every other day (planted last sep inground, full sun.). But i caught it soon enough and once I upped watering it did great. Did not watered much in winter.

Bought plant #2 in nov and remembering how I almost lost #1 due to lack of water, I overcompensated and watered heavily daily. Within 3 weeks it let me know I was overdoing it by developing powdery mildew. I stopped water immediately.

I think this plant really needs AVERAGE water, meaning once a week but w/o fail. Both plants are doing well now, in fact they have blooms.

$11.99 is a bargain, I was happy when I paid $16. Had been wanting this plant for a while but unwilling to pay big $$$.

Thanks Bossy! I'm beginning to think they are not all that drought tolerant, at least in this miniature form.. How could it be with that lush green foliage? Oh well, it's not much of an investment if it doesn't work out.
