Marigolds...how much Sun

Guess this should read how little sun can they get and still bloom. I have African and French marigolds. Have about 5 hours of sun both morning and late afternoon.

Enough to burn green leaf begonias. It gets dry there. Would like some easy color. Any thoughts? Thank you

I think it will work. Marigolds are cheap, so if it doesn't work, you aren't out much.

not only cheap but reseed easily. I have some that get about the same sun and they do well.
